A simple brain hack when feeling stuck

Hello Beautiful Human – How are you?! Are you ‘good’, ‘busy’, ‘fine’… AND also struggling to know how to show up and/or ignore everything that is going on?

I get it.

As humans, we can feel multiple emotions without making one wrong or bad. Shaming yourself for feeling or not feeling something only leaves your brain (and emotional body) stuck.

I want to invite you to:

Please take time to celebrate and express gratitude for the accomplishments and good things happening in your life and work.

This is ESSENTIAL for maintaining motivation and mental health, especially when your nervous system is constantly being bombarded with perceived threats, as the speed of change and authoritarian leaders threaten our country and globe.

  • The sun is shining (relatively calm weather is like one’s health, it’s goes unnoticed until it’s gone)

Your Turn

This is the fuel that will keep you connected to your power and out of feeling helpless.

What’s your natural tendency when your brain hits fear mode?

Freeze – Can’t get yourself to do what you know you need to.

Fight – Defensive, angry, seeing every interaction as threat.

Flight – Avoiding emotions, responsibility, & uncomfortable situations.

Fawn – Can’t say no. Hoping your agreeableness and niceness will save you.

It is natural to get stuck in a loop of fear and reactivity.

It can be so natural that choosing a different way of operating can feel uncomfortable (even dangerous to our nervous system).
