Choose Calm, Change Your Life

June 21, 2025

Hello Beautiful Human, how are you feeling?

What happens when you choose to release anxiety and stress?

Did you know it’s a choice? Sometimes I have to remind myself of this.

Bringing holistic awareness and practices to your mental, emotional, and embodied wellness gives you INCREDIBLE power over how you experience life.

Of course the threats, the challenges, and the evil we fear may still be there, however, you can transform the way you engage it.

No matter the circumstance, when I set the intention of releasing stress & anxiety, (admittedly, it is not always easy), I can then begin to breathe deeply. I draw on my practices of meditation, movement (most likely dancing), or journaling my worries. I clear my mind. I can then focus on my commitment instead of the fear.

Releasing stress and anxiety equips us to thoughtfully engage the difficult circumstances. It resources us for the moment.

Stress and anxiety burns our energy in unhelpful ways, it creates the feeling of helplessness. It depletes creative solutions. It also wrecks the immune system.

If you live in chronic stress and anxiety there are ways to begin healing practicing to transform your life.

As a coach informed by trauma, somatics, and interpersonal neurobiology, I know that the body and mind operate off of patterns, habits, and inherited genes.

If your life experiences forced you into survival mode it makes sense you carry the protective reaction of stress and anxiety with you.

New habits can be formed. New ways of feeling & thinking ARE possible.

Many of my clients come from a background of achievement through stress & anxiety; it’s been their M.O. until their body tells them they’ve got to find another way.

Working together my clients begin to release the stress & anxiety and experience more health, ease, and joy (without sacrificing the success).

If you’re curious about unlocking this potential, book a discovery call and we will develop your personalized map of practices and skills so you can experience the magic of confidently releasing stress and anxiety.

Reflection Questions:

  • What do I think will happen if I stop stressing over ______?
  • Is that true?
  • What positive things could happen?

My client Maribel experienced a very stressful situation…

A broken wrist was, “one more thing” in a list of frustrating situations throwing off her plans and goals for the year. But through our coaching conversation she unlocked some brilliant ideas and energy. We didn’t steamroll over her disappointment or pain, it was transformed into action she wanted for her business.
