A Fit Mind for Social Impact

July 19, 2025

Hello Beautiful Human,

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your own mental fitness?

  • Do you feel confident to direct your attention to the present moment, or is it stuck back in that tense work meeting?
  • Do you find yourself hopping from one unresolved issue to the next, never really making a decision or progress?
  • Does your emotional response cloud any mental flexibility required to take on others’ POV or identify creative solutions?

Overwhelm and helplessness is like a disease… it attacks at a cellular level and from the outside, it works as a strategic disabler of empowerment and personal progress.

Equipping yourself with mental fitness to navigate overwhelm and maintain your empowerment is not only wise, it is strategic.

You don’t need to become a mindfulness expert or attend a fancy meditation retreat to begin developing the mental fitness necessary to build immunity to mental overload.

60 seconds daily of mindfulness has the power to change the outcome of any conversation, written communication, and your personal health.

Mental fitness is a practice. Repetition and intentional training makes a huge impact in the long run.

Imagine…

  • Feeling fully present with your family, despite uncertainty at work.
  • Reducing the anxiety you feel from the moment you wake up to when you fall asleep.
  • Getting better rest and feeling energized.
  • Finding the emotional and mental bandwidth to stay calm while working through challenges
  • Completing the most urgent and important work while releasing all the other things pulling at your attention.

Integrating the habit of mindfulness is one of the practices that supports my clients in rewiring their brain and achieving their goals.

The three pillars of mind training help me in the following way:

In FOCUSED ATTENTION – I bring my mind back to my body from running into the future with all my worries and concerns or camping out in the past with my frustrations. A deep slow breath for each of my 10 fingers forces me to stop the ruminating.

In OPEN AWARENESS – I can ponder, what is here now? Without judgement or commentary I simply notice it. I allow wisdom to bubble up in the quiet pause.

In KIND INTENTION – I center my thoughts on love and gratitude, providing a grounding that fuels my creativity and wellness that were completely unattainable from the place of overwhelm and helplessness.
